ThopertyBox™ is a public architectural framework exploring how AI systems may preserve confidence in what first entered an environment before chronology, trust and governance begin acting upon information.
The first public ThopertyBox™ Reference Architecture v1.0 is now available on GitHub and is published for constructive technical review.
The Architectural Question
Every AI system eventually reaches a decision.
Before it can decide anything, it has to begin somewhere.
Modern AI has transformed reasoning, recommendation and automation.
The architectural question is no longer simply:
"What did the AI produce?"
It is increasingly:
"What did the AI begin acting upon?"
ThopertyBox™ explores that architectural question by separating responsibilities that are often treated as one.
Reference Architecture v1.0
The current public Reference Architecture establishes three core architectural responsibilities.
NDI™ — Neutral Discovery Infrastructure
Records what first entered the environment.
Provides a neutral reference point before downstream systems begin acting upon information.
NCO™ — Neutral Chronological Orientation
Preserves the chronological relationship between recorded events.
Chronology is not truth.
It is an ordered reference from which later evaluation may begin.
TOI™ — Trusted Orientation Infrastructure
Provides the layer where trust, governance and organisational policy may be applied.
Trust remains separate from chronology.
Governance remains separate from discovery.
Each responsibility complements the next while remaining architecturally independent.
Relationship to Existing Platforms
ThopertyBox™ is not intended to replace search engines, social platforms, AI providers or existing standards.
It explores an earlier architectural stage that may complement existing ecosystems by establishing a neutral reference point before optimisation, reasoning and governance begin.
Technical Review
The first public ThopertyBox™ Reference Architecture v1.0 is available on GitHub.
Constructive technical review is welcomed.
The objective is not to defend the architecture from criticism.
The objective is to strengthen it through open technical discussion.
